Step 11: trace creation

`Traces` are shareable curated pieces. They are not just an open blog, but visible fragments of a story, a reading, a check-in, a case, or a note whose author decided to leave accessible.

Core idea

A trace turns a result into a shareable piece

SELFTRACE can already leave visible fragments of biography, emotional state, cases, and notes. That allows sharing without exposing the whole internal system.

Curated sharing

The author decides whether the piece is listed or only accessible by token.

Readable excerpt

The trace can show an excerpt and not the whole process.

Light publication

It is an elegant way to publish without building a separate platform.

Step 1

Create a trace

You can create traces from biography, emotional check-ins, cases, or the sharing area.

Step 2

Choose visibility

You can leave it publicly listed or keep it token-private.

Step 3

Manage the piece

From `SharedSnapshots` you review views, edit sharing, open the link, or remove it.

What it is for

Uses of a trace

  • Share a reading with another person without opening your whole system.
  • Publish a curated piece as a sample or reference.
  • Keep valuable outputs in a visible format.
  • Build a public or semi-private library of meaningful fragments.
Next step

After sharing, complex resolution comes next

Guide 12 shows how to combine multiple SELFTRACE tools for dense, multi-system, or many-layered human cases.
